Namaste! The Indian Student Association (ISA) is a student organization at the University of Dayton and is one of the most active among other international student organizations on campus. We are a non-profit student organization recognized by the office of student activities and ISSS.
The ISA is dedicated to raising awareness about Indian culture on campus and in the greater Dayton area. The ISA consists of a board of 8 students who work all year long to bring unique and entertaining experiences to campus.
Our organization boasts of nearly 100 student members from the Indian community at University of Dayton. The activities organized by us are open to the entire campus in an attempt to share the Indian culture with everyone. ISA renders various services to its members
Objectives :
- to promote service and leadership opportunities.
- to organizes events to commemorate India’s diverse traditions and festivals.
- to generate a sense of community within and outside of the Indian student population through social, philanthropic and cultural events.
- to foster kinship amongst all Indians and enjoy the american experience to the fullest.
- to help students with the educational and social issues that they may face during the stay
- to be the india link for students.
We take pride in representing, promoting and showcasing the best of our country and its people at Dayton and in Ohio. ISA is open not only to indian origins but to anyone who would like to be a part of it. Our beliefs stem from the fundamental phenomenon that unites entire India : Unity in Diversity.
